Gauri-Parvati Puja honours Goddess Parvati, who is loved for her devotion, strength and gentle care for her family. It is a lovely, cheerful puja in which the Goddess is welcomed and adorned with shringar, much like a dear guest. Simple offerings and a warm heart are enough; you do not need a priest. Families and regions do it a little differently, so wherever your own family or pandit's way differs from this guide, please follow theirs.
